A court has ordered a probe against YouTube vloggers who posted negative reviews about the Dileep-starrer movie 'Bandra' on social media. It was the Thiruvananthapuram Judicial First Class Magistrate Court that issued the order. The Poonthura police will conduct the probe against the accused Aswanth Kok, Shihab, Unni Vlogs, Shaz Muhammad, Arjun, Hijaz Talks and Saikrishna in the case.

'Bandra' was released on November 10 last year. According to the complaint, the accused posted negative remarks about the film just half an hour after the release of the film. About 27 lakh people saw the posts of the YouTubers in three days. Following this, the makers of the movie lodged a complaint against the accused. Vinayaka Ajith, the producer of Bandra, alleged that the YouTubers made negative remarks to destroy the film industry.

'Bandra', a family action drama directed by Arun Gopy, was written by Udayakrishna. The film marked the Malayalam debut of popular actress Tamannaah Bhatia. Actress Mamta Mohandas also played an important role in the film.
