'Go meet Govindan master'; allegation against Suresh Gopi for insulting woman in Guruvayur

THRISSUR: It is alleged that actor and BJP leader Suresh Gopi insulted a mother who sought medical help for her child, who is suffering from a rare disease. The incident took place in the Guruvayur temple precinct when Sindhu, a native of Coimbatore, implored the actor to help her financially to provide better treatment for her son.

However, it is alleged that Suresh Gopi scoffed back at them asking them to go and meet Govindan master, who is the present CPM state secretary. Sindhu was taken aback by the jibe and could not decipher the exact meaning of what it meant. The people nearby helped her understand the jibe which left the Coimbatore native in tears.

Ashwin is undergoing treatment for a rare disease called Mastocytosis. Sindhu needs to find Rs 50,000 every month to pay for the medicine bills alone.
