CITU worker found hanging in LDF booth committee office

ALAPPUZHA: A CITU activist was found dead in an LDF election booth committee office. The deceased has been identified as Anil Kumar (50), of Vilanjoor's Devaswom Parambu in Alappuzha. He was found dead on Tuesday afternoon in the booth office on the north side of the Valanjoor temple.

Last day, some people had a conflict with Anil and he got beaten up. Local residents say that he might have committed suicide over the grief of the party not responding despite the incident being reported to them. The body was shifted to Alappuzha Medical College Hospital for post-mortem. The funeral will be held today. Wife: Sindhu. Children: Athira and Aarathi.
