'Sobha Surendran raising baseless allegations'; KC Venugopal lodges complaint against BJP leader

ALAPPUZHA: KC Venugopal, the UDF candidate in the Alappuzha Lok Sabha constituency, has filed a complaint against NDA candidate Sobha Surendran. Venugopal has lodged a defamation complaint against Sobha Surendran with the Alappuzha South Police.

In his complaint, Venugopal alleged that Sobha made defamatory remarks against him during a channel program. Sobha had alleged that Venugopal had acquired properties even in the Gulf countries and had earned crores by doing benami transactions. Venugopal stated in his complaint that these allegations were baseless.
