DUBAI: The Dubai Chamber of Commerce said that more than 15,000 Indian companies have started operations in Dubai last year alone. The Chamber's data also shows a 38% growth in the number of Indian companies. This is expected to create employment opportunities for many Indians in the coming years.

After UAE nationals, Indians have started the most companies in Dubai. Last year, the number of Indian companies registered with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce was 15,481.

Pakistani investors comes next in this regard. 8,036 Pakistani companies have been started in Dubai last year. Egypt is in third place with 4,837 new firms were registered with the Dubai Chamber.

The countries of Syria, UK and Bangladesh are in the next positions behind Egypt.
