Amitabh Bachchan admitted to hospital, undergoes emergency surgery

MUMBAI: Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has been admitted to hospital. a recent report said. According to the report, Bachchan underwent an angioplasty at Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai.

It is said that the 81-year-old actor was hospitalised after he experienced shortness of breath. Hospital authorities said that the procedure was not serious and Bachchan's condition was satisfactory. Bachchan was admitted to the hospital today morning.

Bachchan had recently shared the details of his latest film directed by Nag Ashwin. He said that he used to work until late at night on this project. Earlier this year, the actor had undergone surgery for a wrist injury.
