THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Opposition leader VD Satheesan claimed that there exists a business relationship between Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar and LDF convener EP Jayarajan's establishment following audits by the ED and Income Tax authorities. Satheesan invited Chandrasekhar and Jayarajan to pursue legal action if they dispute his assertions, affirming his readiness to present evidence in court.

Satheesan stated, "There were no inspections by central agencies prior to the establishment of this business relationship. EP Jayarajan strategically entered into an arrangement with Rajeev Chandrasekhar's firm. Predictably, the ED may soon conduct raids on Chandrasekhar's establishment." He also criticized Jayarajan's alleged remarks about BJP's electoral performance, attributing them to pressure from Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.

Addressing the Karuvannur ED investigation, Satheesan highlighted the detention of CPM leaders. He expressed confidence in the Congress's electoral prospects in Thrissur, dismissing the possibility of BJP making any significant gains in Kerala.

Satheesan pointed out the connection between Rajeev Chandrasekhar's Niramaya Resort and Jayarajan's involvement with Vaideham Resort, supported by documents provided by Chandrasekhar to the government. He noted the presence of Jayarajan's family members during the inauguration of Niramaya Resort and their reported links to Vaideham Resort, where Jayarajan claimed consultancy roles and family ownership stakes.

Emphasizing the management relationship between Niramaya and Vaideham Resort, Satheesan revealed that the resorts now operate under the name Niramaya - Vaideham Resort. He cited photographs showing Jayarajan's family alongside officials from both resorts, underscoring Chandrasekhar and Jayarajan's lack of denial regarding these connections while asserting an existing agreement between their organizations.

Satheesan reiterated his willingness to present evidence in court if Chandrasekhar and Jayarajan contested his claims, affirming the veracity of the documents in his possession.
