Randeep Hooda, who plays Savarkar in the film, recently shared a picture on social media indicating his preparation for the role. The actor shared a shirtless picture of himself, showcasing the remarkable body transformation he underwent for the character. Hooda shared the picture on social media with the caption 'Kaala Paani'.

"I invested my heart, mind, and finances into this role. It was mentally taxing. For the past two years, I have been reliant on sleeping pills." Hooda said while talking about his preparation for the film.

Randeep Hooda lost around 30 kg for the character. Savarkar's grandson also came up praising Hooda for his dedication. Earlier, Hooda had lost 20 kg weight in 28 days for the film 'Sarbjit'. He had received widespread acclaim from the audience for this.
