Mathew Kuzhalnadan’s land in Chinnakanal to be re-measured on complaints of error

IDUKKI: A decision has been taken to re-measure Mathew Kuzhalnadan MLA's land in Chinnakanal. The land will be measured in the presence of the owners under the leadership of the head surveyor next week. When measured earlier, it was found that Kuzhalnadan had extra land. A decision was taken to remeasure after his partners pointed errors in it.

Partners Tony Sabu and Tom Sabu requested the Tehsildar to remeasure after pointing errors in measuring the land.

Congress MLA Mathew Kuzhalnadan claimed that not even an inch of land has been encroached illegally. The revenue department’s report said there are 50 cents of puramboke land in Kuzhalnadan’s resort land in Chinnakanal. Following it, the district collector had given permission to take over it.

It is not wealth made by cheating or taking bribes from someone. Ancestrally we are farmers. All these were made out of hard work. Don't try to question the farmer's self-esteem. Will cooperate with any legal action. The purchased land has not been measured. Nothing more than what was purchased has been added to it. Kuzhalnadan told the media that he bought the land after getting government's status certificate.
