Popular YouTuber booked for alleged hate speech over Siddharthan's death

WAYANAD: Vythiri police on Sunday registered a case against a popular YouTuber for hateful speech related to the death of Siddharthan of Pookode University. A case has been registered against prominent women’s activist and debater Jamitha Teacher.

The case was registered for spreading hatred through a YouTube channel called ‘Jamitha Teacher Talks’. According to the police FIR, Jamitha teacher made attempts to break the unity between two religious groups through false propaganda.

While conducting a routine cyber check, Vythiri SI Prasobh PV chanced upon the video and immediately called for action. The police registered a case voluntarily after finding that the video propagated hate.
