THRISSUR: A pivotal moment in the incident occurred when the body of a man was found stabbed to death with a shovel near the Kuttamukk field last Sunday. Upon investigation, the police identified the victim as Ravi (55), a resident of Palakkad, who had tragically succumbed to injuries sustained from being struck by a car. Subsequently, Vishal (40), a gold merchant from Thrissur was arrested in connection with the case.

Local residents, out for a morning stroll stumbled upon the body and promptly notified the authorities upon noticing a stab wound on the victim's abdomen and abrasions near the hip. Initially suspected to be from Tamil Nadu, further investigation revealed Ravi's identity and the circumstances surrounding his demise.

The investigation unveiled that Ravi had been intoxicated and loitering in front of Vishal's residence when he was struck by Vishal's vehicle while the latter was driving home. In an attempt to conceal the incident, Ravi's body was disposed of in the field. Consequently, Vishal faces charges of evidence tampering and involuntary manslaughter.
