District Collector issues notice to Thomas Isaac for attending and speaking at Kudumbashree program

PATHANAMTHITTA: District Collector warns LDF candidate Thomas Isaac about an election violation complaint. The action was taken based on a complaint stating that his participation in a Kudumbashree program violated the law.

The collector instructed Thomas Isaac not to participate in government events after he participated and spoke at the Kudumbashree program held at Pandalam Thekkekkara Panchayat on the 20th of this month. This was evident in a video shot by the flying squad of Adoor LAC.

The Collector's warning emphasizes that participating in the Kudumbashree meeting, which is part of the local self-governing bodies and speaking as part of election campaigns, violates the model code of conduct and should not be repeated. The complaint against Isaac was filed by the UDF.
