Woman, who came to see father, stabbed to death in Muvattupuzha GH

KOCHI: A woman was stabbed to death in Muvattupuzha General Hospital. The incident happened when the woman identified as Simna Shakeer of Nirappu in Muvattupuzha, came to see her father in the hospital. The accused has been identified as Shahul Hameed of Punnamattom.

The incident happened at 3 pm in the ward of women and children. Reports said the two knew each other.

When Simna came to see her father undergoing treatment in the hospital, Hameed stabbed her with the knife he had in his hand. He stabbed her on her neck and back. When he tried to escape after committing the crime, eyewitness caught him and informed the police. The police rushed and took him into custody. He is being interrogated. The reason for the crime is not known.
