Wildlife official captures leopard with bare hands, video

KASHMIR: The officials of the wildlife department caught a leopard bravely found roaming in a residential area. The officials captured the leopard with only a stick. The video of it is being widely circulated on social media.

The 50-second video first shows an official standing near the leopard. The leopard is seen pouncing on him. He tries to take a stick lying nearby and the leopard later seized his hand. Other officials and the locals came to his aid with sticks and succeeds in freeing his hand from the leopard’s grip. The leopard was finally captured and caged.



The incident happened at Fatehpora village in Ganderbal of Kashmir. The residents after noticing a leopard roaming freely in the area informed the officials. The officials were managed to capture the leopard only after several days of efforts. Two women and three officials were injured during the rescue mission. They were immediately admitted to a nearby hospital.
