Bodies of three Malayalees found dead in Arunachal brought home; Naveen's body taken to Kottayam

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The bodies of the three Malayalees who died in Arunachal Pradesh under mysterious circumstances, were brought to the state. The bodies of Arya B Nair (29) of MMRA 198 Sreeragam, Vattiyoorkavu, Melathumele, Naveen Thomas (39) of Kottayam Meenadam Nedumpoika and his wife Devi (39) of Vattiyoorkavu Moonammoodu Abrakuzhi MMRA CRA Kavil, both ayurveda doctors, were brought to the state.

The bodies of Arya and Devi were taken to their homes in Thiruvananthapuram and that of Naveen to Kottayam. The family of Naveen informed that his funeral will be held tomorrow. The bodies were brought in a flight.

The three were found dead in a hotel room in Itanagar on April 2. All three went to Arunachal on March 27. They stayed in a hotel in Ziro, 100 km away from Itanagar. All three died after bleeding profusely from the injuries they inflicted on their bodies.

The Arunachal Police said that the three were suspected to have taken anti-clotting pills. The police have recovered such medicines from the hotel room where they were found dead. They took the room in the hotel saying that Arya was their daughter.

The Arunachal Police has appointed a five-member team to investigate the incident. Arunachal police also concluded that Satan worship was behind the death. Itanagar SP Kenny Bagra said that the investigation is in collaboration with the Kerala Police. It is clear from the preliminary evidence received by the police that Naveen killed others by injuring them and then committed suicide. Vattiyoorkavu police sub inspector Rakesh and his team, who are investigating the missing case of Arya, are in Arunachal.
