NEW DELHI: The latest report regarding the health condition of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who was arrested in the excise policy case, has come out. The health bulletin released by the Tihar Jail authorities stated that the information given by Aam Aadmi Party sources regarding Kejriwal's health was wrong.
According to the bulletin, Kejriwal's weight has increased from 65 to 66 kg. The bulletin also stated that the condition of Kejriwal's internal organs was satisfactory and that his blood pressure and sugar levels were under control. Earlier, Aam Aadmi Party leaders had claimed that Kejriwal's health had deteriorated in jail and that he suffered a weight loss of 4.5 kg.
Earlier, AAP leader Sanjay Singh had alleged that the Modi government was trying to turn Tihar Jail into Hitler's gas chamber. He said that the Modi government was trying to break Kejriwal emotionally. On Tuesday, the Delhi High Court had upheld the arrest and remand of Arvind Kejriwal by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the excise policy case.
