Two youths found dead in Onchiyam; syringe found near bodies

VADAKARA: Two youths were found dead in Onchiyam. The two have been identified as Randeep (30) of Orkkatteri Kaliyath and Akshay (23) of Kunnummakkara Thottoli. Initial reports said excessive use of drugs is the cause of death. The bodies were found Friday morning at 8 am.

The bodies were found in an isolated land near Nellacheri Kunikkulangara Tower. A police team led by Edacheri circle inspector have reached the spot.

After the two went missing, their friends and locals were conducting a search. The bodies of the two were found in between this on the deserted land.

The locals then informed the police. Sreerag of Cheriya Thuruthi found in a weak condition along with them has been shifted to the hospital. There was a case registered against Randeep.
