He died two months back with tagline of 'fraudster's father'; K Vidya's Facebook post

K Vidya, the main accused in forging fake certificate case, came upon social media to apprise all about her current plight. According to Vidya, her identity now goes by the term ‘Fraudster’. The lengthy Facebook post also gives an account of what changed her life after the fake certificate scam incident.

K Vidya:

'I am now known among all as a Kalli (fraudster). My father left this world two months back with the identity of being a fraudster’s father. He was one of the most sensitive men I have known in my life. My sister and mother also have the decorative tagline of being a fraudster’s relative. They are stuck up with life and do not know how to work things out. Even my close friends are nowhere to be seen. I have now endured all the gruelling phases of isolation, and am currently facing life from a hospital bed.

If I try to sleep, my mind will play images of raucous monologues of newsreaders Hashmi, Nisha and Shani, who all went against me with their diatribes. To be honest, I haven’t slept in the past year. With sleep deprivation, I even sought respite with medicines which proved to be of little effect.

In this quandary, sometimes my mind would flit into thoughts about regaining back my old life. I know it is never going to happen. It is no need of mine to apprise you all about my life since all the details have already been well orated and explained by the media channels in Kerala.

I am still afraid to look at people's faces and talk since I fear the thought of them recognizing me as ‘fraudster Vidya’. However now, I have decided to give a good fight to get back my life. Henceforth, I am going to enter into public and will have the cojones to face anyone and will take all jibes in my sleeves rather than falling into the abyss of depression.'

K. Vidya, a native of Thrikaripur, has been charged with forgery and destruction of evidence. The charge sheet states that while working at Karinthalam Govt. College, she produced a fake one-year work experience certificate in the name of Maharajas College. This fake certificate allowed Vidya to get a government salary. Vidya was arrested on June 27 in connection with this case.
