HYDERABAD: A Lamborghini, worth nearly Rs 1 crore, was set on fire here following a dispute between car resellers. The owner decided to sell his car and told some acquaintances and friends about it.

The seller asked one of the owner's friends to deliver the car. On April 13, when the car was delivered to a place outside the city, the accused and his friends who were waiting there poured petrol on the car and set it on fire.

The accused said that the owner of the car owed him money and he set the car on fire due to this. Following this, the car owner and his friend lodged a complaint with the police. The police informed that the investigation of the case is in progress.

The accused also told the police that there was a financial transaction between the two. The police also stated that there is a need to investigate this matter in detail.
