THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Wednesday said that those who stand firm on their stands are the ones who should reach the Lok Sabha and that the people should give strength to the Left Front to strengthen the secular front.

"The BJP has switched from buying the winners of elections through horse trading to abrogating democratic rights by buying off candidates even before the polls. It was the Congress that gave the BJP a walkover in 10 seats in the Arunachal Pradesh elections. We saw that in Surat as well. It is said that the Congress candidate has joined the BJP," he said.

"The Congress in Kerala is led by those who proudly claim to have guarded the RSS Shakha and lit lamps in front of Golwalkar's photo. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma recently revealed that a section of the Congress leaders in Kerala discussed forming a regional party and joining the NDA. This experience proves how sincere Congress is in defeating BJP's politics of hatred," Pinarayi Vijayan said.
