THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In the KPCC meeting held in Thiruvananthapuram, it was assessed that the UDF would secure victory in all 20 seats in Kerala during the Lok Sabha elections. There was acknowledgment of tough competition in four constituencies: Attingal, Mavelikara, Palakkad and Kannur, yet the UDF was deemed to have an advantage in these areas. KPCC Acting President MM Hasan expressed confidence in K Muralidharan's victory in Thrissur, predicting a margin of victory exceeding 20,000 votes.
Criticism of election management was addressed during the meeting, with MM Hasan clarifying in a subsequent press conference. He pointed out failures on the part of the Election Commission, alleging bias among some officers favoring the Marxist Party. Hasan urged the Election Commission to be prepared to take action against such officers.
