Missing woman found dead in vacant house; body of youth found 22 km away

KANNUR: A woman missing from Mathamangalam was found hanging in another house. She has been identified as Anila (36) of Koipra. She was found hanging in the house of Betty at Koravayal in Annoor. Sudarshan Prasad, a youth who was the caretaker of Betty's house, was also found dead 22 km away in Irool.

Anila’s husband had the other day filed a missing complaint with the police. In the meanwhile, she was found dead. Betty and her family were not at home for the past few days. Sudarshan was asked to look after the house. Anila’s body was found when Betty and her family returned home.

How Anila reached Betty’s house remains a mystery. The police informed that there is a good distance between the places where the bodies of the two were found.
