NEW DELHI: Voting will be held tomorrow in the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections in 95 constituencies including 11 states and Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir, Dadar, Nagarhaveli-Daman Diu. This includes Madhya Pradesh's Betul constituency, where polling was postponed after the candidate died. 286 seats will be decided by the end of the third phase, including 191 seats in the first and second phases. With this, voting can be done in more than half of the total 543 seats.
The third phase is crucial for the BJP as polling is going on in all 26 constituencies of Gujarat, including Union Minister Amit Shah's Gandhinagar. BJP is on the defensive in Karnataka over the sex allegations against ally JD(S) leader Prajjwal Revanna. BJP candidate was elected unopposed in Surat, Gujarat. Congress candidate Digvijaya Singh is contesting from Rajgad in Madhya Pradesh.
