Suresh Gopi likely to get majority of 20,000 votes in Thrissur, check how BJP believe they have strong chance this time

THRISSUR: BJP Thrissur district committee has claimed that Suresh Gopi will win in Thrissur where a strong triangular contest took place in the Lok Sabha elections. The party expects a majority of 20,000 votes.

The party's calculation is that Suresh Gopi will make good progress in the constituency-wise figures in the Lok Sabha elections and he will get a lead of 10000 votes in Thrissur constituency alone. The party's assessment is that all the Hindu votes here have been concentrated on Suresh Gopi.

Apart from this, BJP believes it has secured significant number of votes from Natika, the main area of fish workers. The estimate lead would be five thousand votes in this constituency alone. The district leadership says that Suresh Gopi has the upper hand in Iringalakuda too.

It is estimated that the Karuvannur Bank scam case will help Suresh Gopi. Here Suresh Gopi will advance with a majority of 5000 votes. Adding all this, the party has reached the figure of 20000.

Suresh Gopi got a total of 2,93,822 votes in the constituency last time and the saffron party thinks there will be a significant change in these figures.
