Minister announces launch of four-year undergraduate program with full support from teaching and non-teaching organizations

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister of Higher Education and Social Justice, Dr R Bindu announced the launch of the four-year degree program in the state on July 1st.

The minister convened a meeting of various college and university teaching and non-teaching staff organizations to address concerns, including workload. Dr. Bindu assured that appropriate action would be taken regarding workload after consultation with the Finance Department.

The minister stated that a special training program would be developed for non-teaching staff in preparation for the four-year degree program. An agreement was reached during a consultative meeting with leaders of non-teaching staff organizations.
