Persistence is what led Suresh Gopi to politics, says friend and actor Vijayraghavan

Actor Vijayaraghavan said that Suresh Gopi is one of his closest friends. He went on to say that Suresh Gopi is a very good man and that he doesn’t help others to show anybody and that Suresh Gopi has lost a lot of film offers due to his politics.

“Suresh Gopi is a very good friend of mine. Recently he had said in an interview that I am his closest friend. He’s been my close friend from the beginning. He is a very good human being. He has the behaviour of a small kid. He helps out so much. He doesn’t it to show anybody. He’s been doing it for such a long time. It was the death of her daughter that shocked him so much," Vijayaraghavan said.

"Suresh has a persistence to do something. It is that persistence that has led him to get into politics. He used to always say that this is not how to do things and if he had the choice, he would show them. Even when he was not into politics, he always wanted to do something. Because of his decision to get into politics, he has lost many opportunities to work in films. Suresh Gopi is in the same tier as Mammootty and Mohanlal. No matter who comes in the industry, there is always a space for him," he added.
