Body of Keralite woman found murdered in Canada brought home; husband on the run

CHALAKUDY: The body of the woman of Chalakudy found dead in her house in Canada, was brought home. The dead is Dona (30), daughter of Padikkala Sajan of Palace Road and Flora. She was found murdered on May 6. Her husband identified as Lal K Paulose of Kuttichira Kannambuzha, suspected to be the accused, is on the run. A reward of Rs 2000 dollars has been announced for finding him.

Lal, who escaped and reached India on the day she was found dead, could not be apprehended. The police suspect that he may have crossed to some other country.
Dona was found murdered at her home in King Street West, Canada. The body was found in a search conducted by the police after seeing the house closed for many days. The notice released by the Canadian police, said that he escaped in a blue Ford car numbered CXKZ784. Reports said both were not members of Malayalee organizations in the country. So, Malayalee organizations also found it difficult to get their information.

The body brought from Canada and kept in the mortuary of St James Hospital, was brought home Sunday morning at 8 am. Relatives informed that her funeral will be held at the St Mary's Ferona Church.
