SHIRUR: The body of Kozhikode native Arjun, who went missing in the landslide in Shirur, has been found. The body was recovered from the cabin of the truck that was swept away into the Gangavali River. The truck's cabin was found after a 71-day search operation.

Arjun's brother-in-law, Jithin, and truck owner Manaf were present at the accident site. They witnessed the tragic moment with tears in their eyes.

"I had promised Arjun's mother that I won't leave this place without Arjun. This is proof that if one stands firm for a cause, it will be achieved. We were not ready to leave Arjun in the Gangavali river. That's why we struggled for so long. I have fulfilled the promise I made to Arjun's mother. I will take his body to his home," Manaf said.

"Although we were certain Arjun wouldn't return, we finally got an answer to a big question," responded Jithin, Arjun's brother-in-law.

The rescue site in Shirur witnessed immense emotional scenes. Local MLA and district authorities are present at the site. The body was found decomposed, as expected. Kozhikode Kannadikkal native Arjun went missing in the landslide in Shirur on July 16.
