Karnative native dies as traveller carrying tourists crashes into house in Idukki

ADIMALI: A Temp Traveller carrying tourists crashed into a house in Bison Valley, resulting in the death of a person. The deceased has been identified as Jeevan Gowda (34), a native of Karnataka. Two people suffered serious injuries.

The accident happened around 8:30 pm on Sunday on a return trip from Munnar. The Traveller hit the front side of a house belonging to Parayankuzhi Sasi, a native of Bison Valley. The people here escaped as they managed to move away. But three two-wheelers in the frontyard of the house were destroyed in the accident.

The vehicle lost control while going downhill on Bison Valley Gap Road. There were 12 people in the group, including five children. The injured were rushed to Adimali hospital but Jeevan Gowda succumbed to his injuries. The critically injured were taken to Ernakulam for specialist treatment.
