Anu Sithara is one of the popular young actresses in Malayalam. In 2013, Anu hit the silver screen through the movie 'Pottassu Bomb' directed by Suresh Achus. She then portrayed Lakshmi Gopalaswamy's teenage years in Sathyan Anthikad's 'Oru Indian Pranaya Katha'.

Anu has also acted in other languages. She last acted in the film Jananam 1947 Pranayam Thudarunnu, written and directed by Abhijith Asokan. She last appeared as the heroine in the film 'Vaathil' which was released last year. Anu Sithara is married to photographer Vishnu Prasad. Their marriage took place in 2015.
