'Habitual offender, threat to society'; Motor Vehicle dept order puts Sanju Techy in bad light

alappuzha-serious-remarks

ALAPPUZHA: Serious remarks were mentioned in the order issued by the Motor Vehicle Department cancelling the driving license of YouTuber Sanju Techy. It is said that Sanju is a habitual offender and has defied the traffic rules several times despite being warned by officials. In the report, it is also noted that the Youtuber lacks proper driving etiquette.

Alappuzha Enforcement RTO R Ramanan issued the order cancelling the license of the YouTuber for life. RTO Ramanan said that the action was taken because of Sanju's continuous violation of the Motor Vehicle Act. The High Court had also mentioned that strict action should be taken against the YouTuber. Sanju meanwhile implored the officials to not go for drastic moves as he admitted the wrong.

Although the license was revoked for life, Sanju will have the legal machinery to fight against the decision. The Motor Vehicle Department on Saturday cancelled the registration certificate of Sanju’s Tata Safari car (which he had modified) for one year.

The whole issue was aggravated after Sanju uploaded a video scoffing at the officials after being caught setting up a temporary swimming pool in his car. Sanju said that he garnered massive popularity due to the incident. As part of the punishment, Sanju was made to attend a training class at Malappuram Edappal Institute of Driving and Traffic Research, and also do voluntary service at Alappuzha Medical College Hospital.
