Sudhakaran addresses CM Vijayan disrespectfully, makes controversial comment that deceased in bomb blast is only an elderly man

KANNUR: After the death of an old man due to bomb blast while gathering coconuts in Thalassery, KPCC president K Sudhakaran made a bizarre and controvesial comment. His comment was that it was only an elderly man and not an young one who died in the blast.

Sudhakaran added that the bombs are yet to explode and he'll make rest of his responses then. Along with that, Sudhakaran made bad remarks against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and referred to him by saying 'avan'. (disrespectfully address)

Sudhakaran, who called Pinarayi Vijayan ignorant, addressed the Chief Minister by calling him 'avan' during his response. "How many people he hacked and killed, how many people he shot and killed. He started killing since he was in school," Sudhakaran alleged adding whether the Chief Minister is man enough.

An old man died in a bomb blast at Thalassery's Eranjoli on Tuesday afternoon. The deceased has been identified as Velayudhan (86), a native of Eranjoli. Velayudhan had gone to collect coconuts in an uninhabited house next to his house.

He tried to open an object found in the field and it exploded. Velayudhan was seriously injured and rushed to Thalassery Cooperative Hospital but his life could not be saved. The house where the incident took place is near Eranjoli Gram Panchayat office.
