Visits to secretariat fixed between 3 pm and 5 pm

secretariat

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The time for visitors to the Secretariat has been fixed from 3 pm to 5 pm. At this time you can visit the Chief Minister, Ministers and officials. Passes can be obtained from three facilitation centres set up in the Secretariat and two annex buildings. The facilitation centre is located at Cantonment, South Gates, Annex 1 of the Secretariat. Pass to both annexes is issued from the first annex.

Although the visiting time is from 3 pm, visitors come to the secretariat in the morning and afternoon. When they reach the facilitation centre, they have to take special permission from the office of the person to be seen. Such permission is given only in emergency situations.

How to get a pass

  • Go to the facilitation centre and inform who you want to meet
  • The official of the centre will record the name and information
  • The visitor's face will be scanned and stored in the computer
  • After that pass will be issued
  • The pass will show who you want to see
  • On coming with the pass, the security officer will check and let you through
