The actor who will be celebrating his 50th birthday on June 22 (Saturday) is now saying that there is no need for any celebration on his birthday. The superstar's unexpected stance comes while fans are preparing to celebrate his 50th birthday.

Now the news is coming out that the birthday celebrations have been postponed. The events have been postponed due to the hooch tragedy in Tamil Nadu's Kallakurichi that killed 50 people. Vijay had requested help for those affected by the alcohol poisoning. The actor went to the hospital and visited the people who were affected by the tragedy. Vijay came to comfort people in various hospitals. He went to each and every one who was undergoing treatment and inquired about their health.

The actor had responded through X that the complete negligence of the government is the reason for such incidents to repeat. Vijay criticized the government through the official account of his political party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam.
