Body of Malayali youth found in car with throat slit at Kaliyakkavilai

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A body of a youth was found with his throat slit inside a car at Kaliyakkavilai on the Kerala-Tamil Nadu border. Police said the dead is Deepu of Malayinkeezhu. The body was found during patrolling by the Tamil Nadu Police. His neck was found 70% detached.

The patrolling team noticed the dickey lying open at 11.45 pm last night and the light was on. Following an examination the body was found. His relatives said that he had Rs 10 lakh in his hand. He has a crusher unit at Malayam in the capital city. His family said that he was on his way to Coimbatore with the cash to buy a JCB and some other things for his new crusher unit which he was about to start.


His body has been shifted to Kuzhithurai General Hospital. An investigation has started under the leadership of Thakkalai SP.
