THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A two-year-old boy got trapped inside a car while playing with its keys. The incident took place in Venganoor near Vilakkannoor Temple. After the fire force arrived at the spot and tried to get the child out when they got a duplicate key and were able to open the door. Aarav, son of Nandu's of Rohini Bhavan got himself in a tricky situation for over an hour.
While the father was washing the car, the child was inside the vehcile and accidentally pressed the key, thereby locking the car. The family tried searching for duplicate keys but couldn't find them at first. After this, they informed the fire force. Fire force officials said that since it was a car with an airbag system, breaking the glass could be hazardous to the baby. They tried to get the child out by other means when they got the duplicate key. The child has no other health problems.
Rescue operation go viral
Meanwhile, the visuals of the rescue operation of the fire force went viral on social media. In the viral scenes, fire force officials can be seen trying to teach the child to press the key in his hand in order to open the door. The fire force also instructed the families not to give the keys to children when they are inside the car.
