'Many relationships, heartbreak and more'; Bigg Boss star Oviya Helen opens up

Thrissur native Oviya Helen was once a sensation in Tamil Nadu. She is still not far away from the heydays she had in the industry but the actress is now very adept at choosing movies. Oviya debuted through Prithviraj's movie ‘Kangaroo’ in 2007 but struck a chord with people through Bigg Boss Tamil season one during the year 2017. Oviya had to storm out of the show midway but she nevertheless created a huge legion of fans for her performance. Along with the praises and fandom, there also came an equal share of controversies.

While in the game show, Oviya developed feelings for her co-contestant and actor Aarav. Both were always seen together in the show and the pair soon turned into a big talking matter in Tamil Nadu. However, drama ensued after Aarav started distancing from her inside the Bigg Boss house. One fine night, a distressed Oviya, with no knowledge of swimming, jumped into the pool during the dark hours of the night. The show producers had to ring the alarm bell to make other contestants in the house aware of the incident. Oviya was saved from a possible drowning drama on live television. The actress then informed the makers about her decision to quit the show and she walked out amidst rapturous support from fans.

In a recent interview, Oviya opened up about her relationships. The actress said that many people have cheated on her in love and also revealed the many relationships she had.

“Some people entered into a relationship with an eye for financial gain. Now, I have little interest in 'living together' relationships. My policy is to live a life of fulfilment and lest intrude into others’ lives” said Oviya.
