Karuvannur case: ED confiscates assets, including CPM's property

THRISSUR: In connection with the money laundering case in Karuvannur Service Co-operative Bank, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has confiscated properties worth Rs 77.63 lakhs. This also includes CPM's property.

The seized assets includes five cents of land of Porathusery party committee office in the name of CPM Thrissur district secretary MM Varghese and eight bank accounts of CPM with funds worth Rs 60 lakh. The ED team confiscated the properties by making the CPM an accused in the case.
