"I've salary of Rs 2 lakh, did you get your salary last month...": KSRTC conductor ridiculed by passenger after enquiring about ticket

ADOOR: A conductor of KSRTC's Adoor depot was allegedly ridiculed and abused by a passenger on enquiring about his ticket. The incident took place on Saturday night in a bus that was plying from Kayamkulam to Adoor in Pathanamthitta. According to the complaint of Maneesh, the said conductor, to the police, the man mocked and also tried to assault him after asking for the ticket.

After checking the number of people who had boarded the bus and the number of people who had taken tickets, Manish realized that one of the passengers was without a ticket. He then approached a young man and asked for his ticket. He also asked him to take a ticket if he hadn't. Irked by this, the man started making noise inside the bus and used abusive words against Manish.

"I'm a person who gets a salary of Rs 2 lakh, did you get your salary last month, did you have food in your house?" the passenger allegedly mocked Manish. Following Manish's complaint, the Adoor police have started an investigation into the incident.
