Cricket Coach of Kerala Cricket Association arrested for sexually abusing minor girls 

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: More allegations have been levelled against Manu, the coach of Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) in Thiruvananthapuram. The revelations were made by father of the girl, whom he sexually abused. He alleged that Manu captured her nude pictures and sexually abused her in the washroom.

He used to regularly capture her nude and semi-nude pictures on his phone. He captured the nude pics to send them to BCCI and KCA to know the body shape. However, neither the BCCI nor KCA had asked for such pictures.

Her father said that his daughter was brutally abused in the washroom. When she screamed, he forcibly held her and abused. He said that his manner was to drug them and rape them. He abuses children after taking them to Tenkasi. A child when woke up realised that she was in Manu's room. He drugged her the previous night and took her to his room.

Presently six girls have lodged a complaint against Manu. The police registered his arrest in six cases under the POCSO Act. He has been remanded. Manu was the coach of Kerala Cricket Association (KCA) in Thiruvananthapuram. It is heard that he had exploited many minor girls under the guise of training.

The girls have stated that they were taken for a cricket tournament in Tenkasi and abused them at the hotel there and captured nude pics. The accused has been a cricket coach in Thiruvananthapuram for about ten years. A girl had filed a sexual abuse complaint against him a year ago. He was arrested then and a charge sheet was filed in the case.

However, Manu was acquitted in the case after the complainant retracted her statement. He was continuing as the coach of Thiruvananthapuram Cricket Association even after this incident.
