THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A restaurant employee was brutally assaulted for questioning a man who made indecent comments at the women who were having food at a restaurant. The Vattiyoorkavu police have registered a case against three people in the incident. The restaurant employee was attacked by Nettayam native Rameshan, his daughter and some accomplices. The incident took place at Lakshmi Food Court in Manjadimukku.

The women were having food at the restaurant when Rameshan, who sells tender coconut near the restaurant, started making indecent comments at them. On hearing this, restaurant employee Aji questioned him. As Rameshan continued to make indecent comments, Aji pushed him over from the shop. After some time, Rameshan returned to the spot with his daughter and some relatives. They then brutally assaulted Aji.

The police have arrested Rameshan over the incident. The police have confirmed that Aji was attacked by Rameshan, his daughter and some relatives. It is said that they have gone into hiding. Aji sustained injuries on his head, face and rib cage. According to the police, Rameshan and his relatives have several cases in their names, including a murder attempt.
