'Woman should immediately escape from the place where she might lose her life'; Bhamaa pens strong note on Instagram

A note penned by actress Bhamaa as her Instagram story is catching the attention of social media users. In her note, she stated that women should not get married by giving their money as dowry. She also asked whether a woman should get married without knowing how she would be treated at her husband's house.

'Should a woman get married by giving her money to someone as dowry? What would she do if her husband abandoned her after some time? After obtaining her money, her in-laws would ill-treat her and lead her to suicide. A woman should not get married without having an idea about how she will be treated at her husband's house. She should immediately escape from the place where she can lose her life,' Bhamaa wrote.

According to reports, Bhamaa was hinting about her divorce through the note. Bhamaa got married to Arun in 2020. In May 2024, she took to her Instagram page to announce that she got separated from her husband.

'I never knew how strong I was, until I became a single mom and being strong was the only choice I had. Me and my Girl,' Bhamaa wrote on her Instagram page.
