RSS recalls BJP state general secretary after successful Lok Sabha election performance

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: After his excellent performance in the Lok Sabha elections in Kerala, the RSS recalled BJP state general secretary K. Subhash. He is an RSS pracharak. The unexpected decision was taken at the RSS meeting held under the leadership of Ernakulam district Sangh Chalak KK Balaram.

After the president, the general secretary of the organization is the most important post in the state BJP. This post will be held by RSS campaigners. As a Parivar movement, this is the position that connects RSS and BJP. It was decided not to replace K. Subhas, who has been holding the position of general secretary of the BJP state organization for the past two years.

PP Mukundan was the general secretary of the organization for a long time. After him, RSS Pracharak KR Umakanthan, who was the national in-charge of ABVP, came to that position. Ganesh became the general secretary of the organization.

Subhash, who has been in the BJP organization for the past 11 years, was absent from the BJP state leadership meetings held last month.

It is known that the national leadership has suggested K. Surendran to continue as BJP state president. The party has also started preparations for the local elections to be held next year. Meanwhile, the organizational secretary was changed. The party membership distribution program will start next month and active membership distribution in September. After that, party leadership will carry out the work if necessary.
