K K Rema’s father and senior communist leader K K Madhavan passes away

VADAKARA: K K Rema’s father and senior communist leader K K Madhavan (87) passed away Tuesday early morning. He had served as CPM Balussery area secretary and district council member. He was former president of Naduvannur panchayat. He died at 4 am early this morning.

He leaves behind his wife Dakshayani and children Prema, Thankam, Suresh (LIC agent, Perambra) and son and daughter -in- laws’ Jyothi Babu, Kozhikode (retd NTPC), Sudhakaran Moodai (retd Khadi Board), late T P Chandrasekharan (Onchiyam), Nimisha Chalikkara (welfare fund board, Kozhikode). His siblings are K K Kunhikrishnan, K K Gangadharan (retd ICDS) and K K Balan (retd Kerala Bank).

He will be laid to rest at the premises of his house in Naduvannur at 6 pm today.
