KOCHI: A case has been registered against director and Bigg Boss winner Akhil Marar for his Facebook post criticizing the chief minister's relief fund. The case was taken by the Kochi Infopark Police. His post said that he will not contribute to the chief minister’s relief fund and instead will build houses.

His post said
‘I am not interested in donating money to the chief minister's relief fund. Instead, will build three houses and that in my hometown because a friend of mine is ready to give land. Many people assured to help me with the materials needed for building the houses and my friend's construction company is ready to build the houses and also the natural disasters are relatively less.

According to comrades’ request, those who lost their houses in this disaster in Wayanad can be given houses at the place of their choice...

Since I don't know the place, it is their choice where they want to live, if they contact us with the land, we will definitely build the house....

I shared what I can do… I am interested in helping the deserving people…

I don’t have the habit of telling someone that I am helping someone till today. My karma is my achievement. God only need to know.

I post some things when I see what I don’t like from the side of the comrades. There are so many people who are wandering without any way to live except the disasters that fill the news like floods and landslides.

I am bringing to the attention of my comrades some of the help I have given in the last week alone, as I felt that there is merit in such people...

He also said the chief minister has no intention to improve the living conditions of the people living in Kerala.

Akhil Marar said, ‘I will not call the communist members in Kerala as donkeys. Because they have a better brain. If I call communist workers donkeys, donkeys will attack me.’

After taking the case, Akhil Marar shared a note again saying 'a case again, long live the Maharaja'. The police had registered a case against Sreejith Pandalam, former co-convener of the BJP media wing, for campaigning against the Chief Minister's relief fund on social media.
