LUCKNOW: Seven people were killed in a collision between a double-decker bus and a car in Etawah, Uttar Pradesh, around 12:30 AM today. The bus, traveling from Rae Bareli to Delhi, collided with a car heading to Lucknow.

Officials report that the car driver fell asleep, causing the accident. The bus had 60 passengers on board; four of them died and twenty-five were injured and taken to the hospital. The police confirmed that three people in the car also died.

This tragic incident in Etawah follows a similar accident on July 31 in the Mathurapur area of Bareilly, where three people died in a collision between a car and a mini truck. Three youths in the car died on the spot in that accident.
