KOCHI: The Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) started a roadside eatery (Thattukada) in Ernakulam, in a bid to raise funds for Wayanad. Actor Subeesh Sudhi and many famous people joined in support of the initiative. The main cuisines include dosa and omelette and the shop is now functioning near Ernakulam toll junction.

“We have surpassed many such disasters. Until my last breath, I will never forget what I saw in Mundakkai and Chooralmala. I have a deep connection with Wayanad. They are innocent people and I have been to that place. Let nothing like this happen again in life. It is the responsibility of the Malayalees to help them until their life gets back to normalcy.” Said Subeesh Sudhi.

Meanwhile, donations are flowing for Wayanad into Chief Minister’s relief fund. Actress Anaswara Rajan paid Rs two lakh and Prabhas contributed Rs two crore to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund on Wednesday.
