15-year-old boy waiting for bus collapses and dies

PALAKKAD: A student, who was waiting for the bus collapsed and died. The incident happened at Koottanad in Palakkad. The boy has been identified as Muhammed Siyan (15), a student of Koottanad English Medium School. He died while undergoing treatment in hospital.

Siyan collapsed in the bus stop last Friday at 4 pm. His friend and teacher immediately took him to a private hospital in Perumbilavu. He was later shifted to a private hospital in Thrissur for better treatment but he died on Sunday at 10 am. His body was handed over to his relatives after the postmortem at Thrissur Medical College.

Siyan is the son of Latheef of Karukaputhoor Inchiravalappil and Rejila. His siblings are Rashif Mithilaj and Muhammed Dinoos. He was laid to rest at the Juma Masjid in Karukaputhoor.

A college student had died yesterday after a ball hit him while playing football. Madhav was a BCom student of St Thomas College. The ball hit his stomach while he was playing football on Saturday evening. He was rushed to the hospital, but his life could not be saved.
