KOTTAYAM: Veteran filmmaker Bhadran responded to the 'Me Too' allegation against director Ranjith from Bengali actress Sreelekha Mitra. Bhadran demanded that Ranjith resign from the post of the chairman of the Chalachitra Akademi and face the allegation.
‘The news was shocking. Ranjith should resign and prove the allegation wrong if he can. He is not just a director or screenwriter but is sitting in one of the most respected positions. If not resigning, there may be a feeling that the minister is unnecessarily protecting Ranjith.” said Bhadran.
At the same time, actress Urvashi responded today that it is time for the AMMA organisation to intervene strongly in the issue. She took a dig at actor Siddique for his evading answers in last day’s press conference. Urvashi also responded to the allegation against Ranjith and called it of ‘grave importance’.
