KOCHI: Actress Revathy Sampath has reiterated the sexual harassment allegation against AMMA general secretary Siddique, putting the star organization in a serious crisis. In the interview allowed to a television channel, Revathy remained steadfast in her allegation against the actor.

In 2016, Revathy alleged that she was summoned to Siddique’s room in Muscat Hotel, Thiruvananthapuram. She reached the capital city to attend the preview of the movie ‘Sukamayirikatte’ in Nila theatre. The actor had offered Revathy a chance in one Tamil movie in which he said his son was acting. Revathy said that the actor then kicked and beat her up for refusing the ‘adjustment’ offered. It was revealed that the actor then forcefully molested her.

“Siddique then threatened me of kicking out from the movie world if revealed the incident to anyone. He had a nonchalance and a strong belief was visible in his face as if nobody would believe the story. In 2019, when the harassment information was revealed on Facebook, I faced a brutal cyber-attack. I was just 21 at the time of the incident.

He is a criminal. Just for revealing this harrowing experience on Facebook, Siddique made sure that I get no more movies in Malayalam. Nobody gave an ear to me but my parents stood strong and are still my sole support. The experience still haunts me badly.” Said Revathy.
